Located within a 2-hour drive of Cape Town, Aquila Private Game Reserve offers a safari experience with mountains and landscape views. The reserve boasts an outdoor swimming pool, curio shop, children's entertainment area and an on-site spa.

Decorated in an African style with wooden furniture, each cottage unit at Aquila features an outdoor shower equipped with a fan and a minibar that can be stocked on request. Some lodge units offer a private patio/balcony offering views of the reserve.

Meals are included and is served in a triple-volume buffet restaurant with an upstairs lounge area boasting scenic views of the Karoo mountains. 

Home to the 'Big 5' and other wildlife species, guests can enjoy scheduled morning and afternoon safari game drives within an open 4 x 4 safari vehicle, which are included in the rate. Horseback and quad-bike safaris can also be arranged.

Guests have access to a spa, which boasts an indoor heated pool, a sauna, a steam room and 10 treatment rooms.
