Witsand is a small, safe coastal village located at the beginning of the garden route where the Indian Ocean meets the Breede River. 

The accommodation we offer on Swop and Stay are Waterford holiday home, Cosy Corner cottage, Pansy Shell family unit and Whale/Dolphin en suite rooms. All of these are shown on our website and are subject to availability.

Waterford has river views but not the other units - however, only a short walk or drive to the beach (5 Mins). There is free WiFi for guests. 

Waterford holiday home is a minimum two-night stay whilst the other units can be one night stay or more.

The space: Waterford and Cosy Corner are self-catering - whilst the other rooms are private and ensuite - but share a communal kitchen/braai area.

Please note:  We cannot take Swops during school holidays and long weekends.  During summertime till mid-April, swops will be limited but will be considered closer to the date of stay.

We ask guests to please recycle glass, plastic, cardboard and tins in the bin provided. Smoking is not permitted in the house - only allowed in the garden. Fisherman, please do not leave the bait in the bins at the house - put it in the river.
