Copperleigh Trout Cottages is a beautiful little guest farm located in the upper Dargle area of the Midlands of KZN. iNhlosane Mountain provides a majestic backdrop. Guests love our friendly hospitality, trout fishing, birding, walking trails and seeing the sheep and cattle on our working farm!

We have 2 self-catering units to choose from (furnished with a range of modern amenities to ensure you have a comfortable stay).

The romantic log Cabin is right on the water's edge which is perfect for couples to share. There is a braai outside and the verandah overlooks the 10-ha trout-stocked Mavela Dam. Features a shower and a heated towel rail.

The Lodge unit is great for families or friends looking to escape for a quiet stay in the countryside. It can accommodate up to 9 guests. Featuring an indoor fireplace which is great during winter or for those cool misty Midlands nights! Large fully equipped self-catering kitchen, electric blankets and a heated towel rail in the master bedroom. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs on the 2nd floor.

*Pet Policy: We are dog-friendly (small dogs only), must be pre-arranged and a pet levy of 1 token per pet per day will apply.
