De Kombuys is an eco-oriented farm lodge conveniently situated only 3 km from the world-renowned Cango Caves. Whether you are looking for peace and tranquillity in our beautiful natural surroundings, or want to experience the culture of a working organic farm, we have the accommodation option to suit your needs. 

The Vineyard Cottages, which have been luxuriously restored to preserve their old-world charm, date from the 1800s. Both (Die Bakhuis & Die Ou Skooltjie) are situated next to our organically grown vineyard and offer magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. Each cottage has its own braai (barbeque) and outdoor furniture.

  The Luxury Villas' loose-standing units are located on the side of a hill with a bird’s eye view of the farm & Swartberg mountain range. Each has a private entrance leading to a spacious open-plan living area with a kitchenette and lounge with a fireplace. The living area has large glass windows and double doors that lead out to the patio with a private splash pool (with heating). The bedroom (queen extra length bed)is one step level down from the living area and has a large indoor bathroom with a shower and an open-air bathroom with a bath and second shower. We spare no expense with our amenities and additional luxuries.

On arrival, you will be welcomed by fresh flowers, fruits & a bottle of our own estate wine. A full coffee/tea station includes a Nespresso machine and an array of teas. For your bath, we have ensured that you have all the goodies necessary for a relaxing outdoor bathing experience. We provide quality white bedding and fluffy towels. Daily housekeeping, private dining, turndown& concierge service can be provided (unless privacy is requested).

The Marbled Wagyu Restaurant is one of only a handful of restaurants in the Southern Hemisphere where you can experience real pasture-raised Wagyu – our signature trade.
