Dunvegan Lodge is a peaceful self-catering retreat set high upon the fynbos-covered slopes of the Clovelly mountains, overlooking the golf course, and a short way from the charming village of KalkBay and Fish Hoek which has one of the best swimming beaches in CapeTown.Dunvegan Lodge has direct access to the hiking trails and caves of the Silvermine Nature Reserve and is only a 12-minute walk from the beach.

The Lodge is centrally situated for visits to the Cape Town Waterfront, Stellenbosch Wine Route and Cape Point Nature Reserve and is a short drive from the famous jackass penguins at Boulders Beach. It is a 5-minute walk to the Clovelly Country Club which boasts one of the finest 18-hole golf courses in the peninsula.

Dunvegan Lodge offers accommodation in spacious sunny rooms, each with modern en-suite bathrooms, TV with satellite, hairdryer, safe and, for those chilly evenings, underfloor heating/air conditioner/heating and electric blankets. All linen, towels and white towelling gowns are provided, the rooms are serviced daily, and a full laundry service is available.   

 Wayne and Lisa, new lodge owners since Nov 2023, love their new business venture. After relocating from Natal, they bought in Tokai and soon after that could not ignore the pull and attraction of the beautiful Kalk Bay/ False Bay area. They happened to stumble across DunveganLodge and decided to buy. Running a guesthouse is such fun. We love meeting and making new friends and feel like we are constantly on holiday living in such beautiful surroundings.

 All the above suites have a fully fitted kitchenette (Bean to cup coffee machines,2 plate burner/mini oven, microwave, fridge, toaster and kettle in each)and a lounge with direct access to lovely wooden decks and landscaped gardens. Here one can laze around the solar-heated swimming pool and soak up the African sun, and then enjoy a relaxing evening barbeque and sundowners whilst watching the sun set into the Atlantic Ocean.

 The Studio: sleeps 2 people

 This room has a fully fitted kitchenette with a breakfast counter and a lovely enclosed, covered patio. We have a pool area with a solar-heated pool for guest use. Rooms are serviced daily (except on weekends and public holidays) and we offer a laundry service.
