Dusk to Dawn is a spacious country guesthouse on the southern tip of Mpumalanga - the place of the rising sun. Johann and Gudrun Engelbrecht have turned their family home into a friendly and welcoming halfway stop for tourists and visitors en route on the N2 from the Kruger National Park or Gauteng to the Kwa-Zulu Natal North Coast or vice versa.
The classic rooms and cottages are decorated country-style and offer air conditioning, TV, and a seating area. Complete with a microwave, the dining area has a refrigerator and an electric kettle. Guests can prepare their meals using the kitchen facilities in their rooms.
Dusk to Dawn Guesthouse also has a private picnic spot and barbecue facilities. A Deli shop with fresh produce is on site. An array of activities can be enjoyed on-site or in the surroundings, including cycling, mini golf and fishing. The garden features a tree house and a jungle gym. At Johnny’s Arc, children can get into close contact with a large variety of farm animals. Bird-watching walks can be arranged.
