Situated at the foot of the Gamkas mountains, Elim Retreat is hidden away amidst the majestic mountains of the Klein Karoo and offers guests a relaxing getaway in a ravine.

Ideal for a group or family, the cottage can accommodate 5 adults and a child, as well as 3 additional guests on request, on a camping basis. The cottage is powered by 220V solar power and comprises 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a single bed, as well as a pull-out single bed for a child. The second bedroom contains a double bed, and the rooms share the use of a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. Additional guests please need to bring their own camping equipment, to camp in front of the cottage.

The outdoor kitchen is equipped with a gas hob and wood stove, and a dining table, and overlooks the firepit and surrounds.

The cottage has a swimming pool, and at night, guests can watch the stars at night while enjoying a braai. The farm is home to various animals and offers activities such as mountain biking, walking and hiking, and while exploring, guests may also see early marine invertebrate fossils.
