Beachfront holiday accommodation. The thatch chalets are fully equipped and furnished with 1 or 2 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and patio. The second bedroom is an upstairs loft room, more suited to children. Walk out of the front gate, under the milkwood trees and onto the beach. We have direct access to the beach but the chalets do not have sea views because of the large trees in front.  St Michaels is a safe swimming beach with lifesavers, a tidal pool and a placid lagoon. Enjoy a braai relaxing around our private swimming pool or walk along the dunes viewing the abundant birdlife.

Emerald Cove is ideally situated within easy walking distance of the Shelly Beach shopping mall, restaurants and pubs. For the more active, there is off-shore angling, deep-sea fishing, sports clubs and nine national golf courses nearby. We can arrange whale-watching pleasure cruises, deep-sea fishing trips or scuba diving. Protea Banks is a world-renowned dive site. Visit Oribi Gorge and go abseiling, white water rafting or try the world’s highest swing. Visit crocodile farms, coffee farms or lighthouses. Meander along the arts and crafts route or go for a tranquil nature walk. Emerald Cove, situated in Shelly Beach is the perfect spot to enjoy a beach holiday and all the attractions of the South Coast.
