Glen Eden is located 14 km from the picturesque and charming town of Montagu, giving us the ideal location, close enough to town, so amenities are within reach, but far enough away that you can enjoy a restful, peaceful stay. Nestled in the Langeberg mountains, with beautiful mountain views, Montagu has lots to offer, from wine tasting, museums, tractor trips, climbing and hiking. There are many restaurants to choose from and a quaint village market to enjoy (only on Saturdays). We are located off the famous Route 62, direction Barrydale.  

We have 5 cottages, all of which are pet friendly, we do have pet policies in place so please let us know in advance if you wish to bring your pet. All have private enclosed gardens, outside furniture, a braai, a splash pool and a wood-fired hot tub. All have Netflix-ready smart TVs (Netflix account set up no need for your own), and 3 cottages have indoor fireplaces. 

We have 2 unique glamping options, either Glen Eden Ranch with gypsy wagons and tepee tents or Little Eden with our first micro-bedroom site, all glamping sites have wood-fired hot tubs.

We have a recreation area, for all our guests to enjoy. The area has a swimming pool, with day beds, and sun loungers. There’s also a jungle gym for the children and a big, shiny red tractor to enjoy. We have a touch farm and can arrange an animal feeding session for you, our animals also come into one side of the recreation area so you can see them. Guests are not allowed in the animal pens without a member of staff, although tame our animals can still bite. We have donkeys, alpacas, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits ducks, turkeys, geese, peacocks and pheasants on the farm. There are lots of hikes on the farm, a dam for fishing, a smaller dam with a rowing boat, horse riding and kayaking can also be organized on the farm.
