House on the Hill offers self-catering accommodation on a working sheep farm, nestled on the banks of Duiwenhoks River near Heidelberg. It is the ideal destination for those seeking a tranquil getaway in the countryside. 

Accommodation is offered in 3 beautifully furnished cottages, set on the banks of the farm dam and offering stunning views. Each cottage can accommodate 4 guests and contains 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. Each cottage has a Smart TV with Netflix and free Wi-Fi internet access. 

We have solar power available and therefore we have no load shedding.

Guests have access to a communal dining hall where there is another kitchen, a braai area and a pizza oven, with spectacular views. We also have a big braai pit and loose-standing braais. Fresh cow’s milk and farm-fresh eggs are available daily.

Our farm function venue offers a charming and serene backdrop that will make your event truly memorable. It has been designed to provide the perfect setting for your special events, accommodating up to 50 people.
