Lincoln Cottages B&B/self-catering was conceived, designed and landscaped by Ken and Monica Phillips. The tastefully decorated Cottages were personally hand built by the owners, the results achieved now set the bench mark for commitment to excellence that the hospitality industry demands.

Lincoln Cottages prides itself in providing award winning graded affordable B&B and self-catering accommodation. We are graded as “SUPERIOR” with the Automobile Association of South Africa (AA). We pride ourselves in offering peaceful and relaxing accommodation.

Situated in the heart of Lincoln Meade Pietermaritzburg, we are conveniently located close to many and varied sporting arenas and schools. For example the world famous Maritzburg College is only 11 minute drive away. Maritzburg is home to world class sporting amenities, be it Hockey (we have two Astro Turfs), Rugby, Football, Cricket at the Oval, swimming, tennis, squash. horse racing adjacent to the Golden Horse Casino, ten pin bowling, lawn bowels, and the Action Sports Indoor Sporting arena is only an 8 minute drive away.

Our accommodation is in close proximity to the N3 (4 minute drive) making us easily accessible to our many hospitals and is only a 13 minute drive to the Pietermaritzburg CBD.
