Muggefontein is a self-catering Karoo Guest Farm, situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Nuweveld Mountains in the Great Karoo. The farm is located between the charming little towns of Merweville, Fraserburg and Leeu-Gamka on the R353.

The Guest House features an indoor fireplace & braai. There are two private bathrooms, free toiletries, towels and bed linen as well as electric blankets. The house can accommodate up to 10 people (extra matrasses available). Other facilities – outside shower, braai and splash pool.

Self-arranged activities are on the farm, such as cycling and hiking are possible. Enjoy the breathtaking stars in the night sky that can only be seen miles from the city.
