The guesthouse is owned and run by Illona & Brian Februarie. Growing up in entertaining-loving families, they naturally fell into the hospitality industry. Unlike the rest of her family though, Illona always preferred the finer things in life and gained professional experience at some of South Africa’s finest 5-star hotels and venues.

After honing their skills in the big city, the born and bred Kannaland locals decided it was time to come home, reunite with a local family and start giving back to the local community. 

Parkside Guesthouse results from a passion for hospitality and a desire to create opportunities for other Kannaland community members. After years of toil to create a chic and peaceful space in a rural town, Parkside finally looks forward to welcoming you!

Parkside Guesthouse has 6 rooms, sleeping a total of 12 people. Each room can be set up as a King or Twin room depending on the guest’s needs. A bath or shower en-suite is also available including wi-fi, DSTV and air conditioning.
