Four spacious designer cottages in a pastoral and river setting - on Vermaaklikheid outskirts (35 km from Witsand, 42 km from Riversdale and 47 km from Stilbaai)
We offer four beautiful, fully equipped, self-catering cottages, for nature lovers and adventurers. The rustic facilities are thoughtful and tasteful, providing simple, comfortable, and easy holiday living. The unique architecture is in keeping with the indigenous buildings of this charming little hamlet. The waterfront in all three houses is unguarded and NOT suitable for unsupervised children.
BASE HUIS - SLEEPS 8
Situated on the Riverfront with an extensive jetty and riverside recreation area. Sleeping Accommodation consists of three twin bedded rooms downstairs. Upstairs, above the garage, there is a large double bedroom with two side beds. This bedroom is called “Herons Nest” and has a beautiful river outlook. Visitors have the use of the upstairs walkway and balconies with magnificent river views. The other upstairs rooms are locked and not available to visitors. There is an open-plan living/kitchen/dining room with a large open fireplace. The outside braai and entertainment area are on the riverfront. There is only one shared ablution block and an outside shower. Guests have the use of a canoe.

Access by river ferry. Situated on the river, it is accessible by boat only. Consists of a living, dining, and kitchen area with an open fireplace. The stoep, braai area, and upstairs deck offer magnificent river views.
