Waking up in nature, surrounded by birdlife, will make you think twice if you should leave home to explore more of the beautiful Cape. Marina da Gama is close to the famous surfer beach of Muizenberg, the pittoresk Kalkbay, on the way to Cape Point or the Winelands driving along the ocean beaches of False Bay. Driving to Town is uncomplicated and takes 20 min.

In walking distance, you can find a little shop, a couple of takeaway restaurants, a pub and a very good coffee shop. The larger supermarkets are a bit further away but still within walking distance. The beach or Park Island is a wonderful little nature reserve with views of Table Mountain.
