The Palms guest house is situated in the center of the small but fast-growing town of Hartswater in the Northern Cape, 120 km North of Kimberley. The town is in the center of the Vaalharts irrigation scheme, about 30 km from the World Heritage Site, where the Taung Skull was found. There is a lovely waterfall at the skull site and the rare Thomeng Stalaghtites to see nearby in the Taung area. Hartswater is a well-located overnight destination if you travel to Namibia, the Kgalagadi Game Reserve or Augrabies waterfalls.
The name of The Palms Guest House refers to the 7 different types of palm trees that grow in the lush gardens. The guest house has a generator that supplies power during load shedding, as well as water tanks that supply water when the town's water supply has been cut-off due to canal maintenance. Our client's privacy and comfort is our priority!
