Situated on the banks of the Elands River in the scenic Elands Valley, the Saragossa Game Reserve lies approximately 20km east of the Waterval Boven tunnel.

The Twin Thorns guest house is easily accessible from the N4 and situated on the south-western boundary of the reserve. The guest house, elegantly furnished and restored to reflect the grand style of the original farmstead, is surrounded by manicured gardens and neighbouring farmland. 

Twelve guests can be accommodated in the main farmhouse and cottage. The leisure rooms include a lounge with an open fireplace, dining room,  wine cellar and veranda looking out onto a picture-perfect garden. 

Twin Thorns guest house comprises three standard rooms and three spacious suites. The cottage may be booked for a maximum of4 adults plus 2 children and includes self-catering facilities. A swimming pool with Jacuzzi seats, surrounded by manicured gardens is available in the tranquil surroundings.

Giraffe, hippo, zebra, blue wildebeest and eland are just a few of the many species that roam freely throughout the 1400ha wildlife reserve.  The reserve is staffed with a team who are passionate about the environment, customer service and catering to the needs of discerning guests.
